  • After School & Saturday Family Programs – Young Audiences provides afterschool and Saturday programing through partnerships with the Northwest Buffalo Community Center, BestSelf Behavioral Health, Buffalo Public Schools, YMCA, YWCA, The Boys & Girls Club of Buffalo, Say Yes to Education, and the Police Athletic League.
  • Young Generations – Young Generations, formerly known as M@RE, is a restorative justice-arts program; connecting students ages 13-19 to arts education, workforce development, and community initiatives. Our after school program meets Central Library 3:30-6:00pm and operates year round, providing an enriching setting and meets the needs of teens. Connections are made through the Erie County System of Care.
  • ArtWorks – ArtWorks is a paid summer youth apprenticeship program in the arts for high school students ages 14-18 that reside in the City of Buffalo or Erie County. ArtWorks gives students the opportunity to learn and practice essential 21st century career skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to think and work creatively with others.
  • The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) has partnered with Young Audiences of Western New York to enhance the prosocial activity programming offered to participants. At present, County Director Gary Damon, Jr. leads a regular biweekly family fun night. Collaboration with Young Audiences augments this existing programming and would entail include the provision of workshops centered on diversity, health and wellness, and life skills, utilizing the arts as a point of entry. The young adults with family members will have the opportunity to participate in reflective processes through creation of , along with a focus in music, dance, theater, visual arts, and literary arts. Additionally, Young Audiences staff are trained and equipped to facilitate the DiSC and Strengthsfinder individual communications and work style skills-focused assessments. Offering these and would be able to bring this programming to CEO’s family fun night participants. These assessments would assist participants in better understanding their own areas of strength and help them to build upon those strengths as they look to further their careers.
  • Creative Family Programming – Partnering with the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library and libraries throughout the eight counties, we offer family friendly, arts learning and engagement.
