PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY
Young Audiences in conjunction with Arts Partners for Learning will host a professional development forum to discuss how the Western New York community is “Reaching Youth Through Innovation.” Session topics will focus on social and emotional intelligence, health and wellness, STEAM programming, creative thinking in the classroom and workforce, youth entrepreneurship, digital media arts, and arts integrated education.
We invite teachers, educators, afterschool providers, arts and cultural organizations and human service providers to attend. Participants will have the opportunity to network with community members who are entrusted with the care, education and development of youth across the region; experience hands-on workshops; and learning sustainable, relevant tools to use in the field.
Conference participation contributes to the 175-hour requirement for NY State Professional Development Standards. All necessary documentation will be provided.
A discounted admission rate of $5 to the Buffalo Zoo will be available to conference participants and their families. Gates open at 10:00 am. Tickets can be purchased when registering for the conference.
