March 25 – April 7, 2018

Young Audiences of Western New York is proud to announce that National Young Audiences Arts for Learning Week will be held March 25 – April 7, 2018. Young Audiences Week will celebrate the many contributions Young Audiences of Western New York has made to schools and students in the Western New York community through arts-in-education programs.

The two-week celebration will be observed across the Young Audiences network of 30 affiliates in 22 states. Participating affiliates will host arts-integrated programming and special events in schools and community venues to raise awareness of Young Audiences and spotlight the importance of arts-in-education.

“Young Audiences Week showcases the strong impact of the arts on education and we are excited to celebrate with the children and families we serve. We are fortunate that Young Audiences Week falls during Spring Recess this year, which runs April 1 – April 7. We will be offering free programming for kids all week long in the form of workshops and performances at the Downtown Library,” said Michael Weidrich, Executive Director of Young Audiences of Western New York.
