Allison started at Young Audiences in 2016 as an intern while working towards her Masters Degree in Arts Mangement at the University at Buffalo. In her current role as the Programs and Communications Coordinator, she splits her time between the Education and Development teams, and manages APL programming. She has always had a love of the arts and is thrilled to be in a position to expand arts programming in Western New York.
Allison received a B.S. in Museum Studies from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013. After graduation, she spent two years interning with art conservation labs across the country, including the George Eastman House, Buffalo Bill Center of the West, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Before moving to Buffalo to pursue her Masters degree, she spent a year as the Archives, Curation, and Development Coordinator at the Lucy Desi Museum in her hometown of Jamestown, NY.
