Eric Crittenden

Eric Crittenden is an award-winning saxophonist, keyboardist, and vocalist. He' s played thousands of shows across thousands of miles. Crittenden is also a renowned entertainer and radio show host. His musical resume is varied. He has worked with many well-known talents including Bob Weir and Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, Michael Franti of Spearhead, and The Roots.

From birth, Crittenden was immersed in the funk, soul and feel-good vibe of the mid '70s. His grandfather, Stuart Crittenden, was the organist for a Masonic Lodge outside of Rochester, NY. His father, Doyle Lee Jones, played with and was produced by James Brown for over 10 years.

Crittenden has developed a teaching style he calls "edutainment." He' s been designing and implementing cutting-edge programs for almost as long as he' s been performing. He is especially proud of the IMAGE program, sponsored by New Era Cap. IMAGE promotes cooperative learning and discovery by providing a creative outlet for expression. IMAGE members learn how to turn their life experiences into living, breathing and meaningful works of art; while entertaining young audiences at area schools and community centers.

So whether it' s for 10,000 fans or 10 children, authentic realness is the common thread for Crittenden. He is proud to serve humanity with the gift of real-feel-good music in whatever capacity.
